DUSSHERA - FESTIVAL OF VICTORY OF GOOD OVER EVIL
India is known as a land of festivals and celebrations and this festival continues for ten days and Dussehra is celebrated on the tenth day. In fact it is believed that the war between Lord Ram and Demon Ravana went on during these 10 days and Ravana was killed by the hands of Ram on the tenth day.  Today Dussehra is a festival that teaches us to sacrifice our ego, anger and evils and to adopt calm and good behaviour.

Students of Year 2 enacted the entire scene in a special 'Dusshera Celebration' assembly.
